• Communications through virtual care tools can be forwarded, intercepted, circulated, stored, or even changed without the knowledge or permission of the Physician or the patient.
• Even after the sender and recipient have deleted copies of electronic communications, back-up copies may exist on a computer system.
• Communications through virtual care tools may be disclosed in accordance with a duty to report or a court order.
• Some videoconferencing platforms may be more open to interception than other forms of videoconferencing
AI Scribe
At Arya, security and privacy of your patients' data is our top priority, especially when it comes to our AI options: Scribe and Dictate. This article is to provide you with a clear understanding of the measures we take to ensure this data remains secure.
All data generated using Arya's AI assistant is securely stored on local Canadian servers provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). To enhance data resilience, we use servers in multiple geographic locations.
The AI Scribe does not store any conversation recordings.
In addition, we use advanced encryption protocols—256-bit AES encryption—both in transit and at rest. This level of encryption is recognized as one of the most robust available, and it ensures that your data remains inaccessible to unauthorized users.
Arya strictly adheres to Canadian privacy and security legislation. To maintain the highest security standards, we undergo regular privacy and security assessments conducted by industry-leading third-party experts.
