Already a patient of Dr. Kang's?  You can either call our office and leave a message or to book a 15 minute phone call (please note that if you have more than 1 child who is registered with Dr. Kang, the email address on file will be uniquely different eg. ZZZ+kid@gmail.com or ZZZ+childsname@gmail.com.  If you are unsure, please call and we can verify the email we have on file for your specific child).

In BC, all pediatricians are consultants which means you need to be referred for a specific reason.  If you have a family MD, you can discuss your concern with them and see if a pediatric assessment is a good idea.  If you do not have a family MD, you can get a referral from a walk-in-clinic, virtual primary care or UPCC.

Dr. Kang's waitlist is currently closed to new patients.  If you have previously seen Dr. Kang or have a sibling who sees Dr. Kang, then there may be availability.  Please have your primary care provider send a referral if this is the case.

Yes, Dr. Kang is currently providing both in-person and virtual appointments.  In some cases, the virtual waitlist can be shorter and your child can be seen sooner.  Please let your family doctor know if you are open to a virtual appointment so that they can communicate this to Dr. Kang's staff.

Typically, your appointment will last 30-60 minutes.  Please refrain from bringing snacks into the shared clinic space.  At this time, we do no have toys out for shared play so please bring a book or colouring supplies.

There is a public washroom in the main building of Lansdowne Professional Centre.  If you are changing a diaper in the exam room, please take the soiled diaper with you.
